Discussing furniture and colours is definitely going to take more time for us than it took to decide what kind of heating and ventilation system we would have (because these things you don´t really see inside the house). When it comes to taste we have a fitting swedish saying "taste is like your bottoms - divided". The market is exactly as you put it: overloaded with all kinds of colours, designs, quality levels, materials etc. I'm sure we will find something out there in the jungle.
