Igår levererades virket som beställts till stommen. Det var några ton varor. Som tur var lyckades chauffören köra upp på tomten (med den 23 ton tunga lastbilen) så han kunde lasta direkt till plattan där snickaren ville ha virket placerat.
Snickare Peter och hans två medhjälpare gjorde ett fantastiskt arbete första arbetsdagen. De lyckades resa 3 av fyra väggar. Jag hade inte satt ut alla mått på fönster och dörrar så jag började dagen med att komplettera ritningen med dessa synnerligen viktiga detaljer.
Yesterday the wood for the frame (of the house) was delivered. Fortunately the chauffeur managed to drive right up to the house (with the heavy 23 tonnes truck) so he could unload all the material directly on the foundation.
Peter the carpenter and his two employees did a fantastic work the first day. I hadn't written down all the (exact) measures of length regarding the placement of windows and doors so I started the day completing the construction drawing with these very important details.
